Dr. Stephanie Silberstang, DVM
she/her
Dr. Stephanie has been practicing medicine for over 10 years after receiving her DVM and undergraduate degrees from Cornell University. In addition to being Fear Free™ certified, a Certified Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) Palliative and an End-of-Life Practitioner, and a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian, she’s a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Veterinary Medical Association of New York City (VMANYC). Dr. Stephanie trained in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute in 2019 and has been practicing acupuncture ever since.

Laika
Laika is the bridge for Dr. Stephanie’s family. She was a sibling to Tembo, the inspiration for Gentle Journey Vet Care, and currently enjoys an afternoon snooze, long walks, and managing her younger brothers Io and Hamtaro, both adopted bully mixes.
